Are we an aspirational city in Birmingham for our children, what opportunities are there, is there a way out to give hope ?

 

This is not a race thing and it can happen to anyone. However, the media would have you believe this is a black issue and it’s related to gangs and drugs.

 

So what can we do? We can not arrest our way out of this … we need a whole system at every systems level… awareness raising, support for parents and carers, early intervention at the right time, opportunities for children, learning through bleed kit training.
